Tamam Hassan's Grammatical Opinions, and the Theory of Synergistic Evidence through his Book through his book Arabic Language Meaning and Structure

Abstract

The concept of grammar in modern studies is no longer limited to that science that searches at the end of words in terms of syntax and construction. Which calls for the renewal of syntax, which relied on philosophy and logic. The scholars, as well as the scholars, were fussy about what the grammatical lesson had come to, and this was demonstrated by Ibn Mudha’ Al-Qurtubi (592) in his book Al-Radd Al-Ghamati, and many scholars followed him in many of what he said, such as: Ibrahim Mustafa, Mahdi Al-Makhzoumi and other scholars. Those who called for the renewal of grammar, and rid it of the difficulty that attached to it, until the latest and most rigorous studies appeared, and it is the study that is unique to Tammam Hassan in his book The Arabic Language, Its Meaning and Structure.

Tammam Hassan is considered one of the contemporary Arab linguists who saw in the old Arabic grammar obstacles that prevented its development, but rather found it to be based on an unscientific approach that is not compatible with the scientific approaches developed in the West, so his call came to reformulating the grammar and purifying it from its impurities.

Hence our interest in these recent studies, especially the study of Tammam Hassan in his book “The Arabic Language, Its Meaning and Building”, where we stand on the most important of these opinions and discuss them, and know the close relationships between them and modern linguistic studies.
