Geographical Analysis for the Invested Areas in Cultivation of Crops (Wheat and Barley) in Maysan Province for the 2023
Abstract
This study took the reality of the geographical analysis for the invested areas of crops in Maysan province. Shedding light on the space contrast for cultivating crops(wheat and barley) for areas and production, adding to studying its relative importance. Using the standard score for areas and production, the study extracted an obvious contrast in areas and production despite providing the same circumstances for cultivation in the studied area, so, studying crops (wheat and barley) in the province Is of nutritional and economic importance, it works on food security which depends on providing nutrition from the the local agricultural production in the first place which also participates in rising this important section from the economic side and providing financial incomes for the province, then it seduces poverty and hunger, noting the progressive increasing in population for that the government duty is to support the power of agriculture production in the province because it touches human directly.
