The Effectiveness of the Role of Parents in Developing the Sustainability of Education

(A study on a sample of Al Ain University students)

Abstract

   The research aims to identify the effectiveness of the role of parents in developing the sustainability of education (a study on a sample of Al Ain University students). The study relied on the descriptive approach. The study sample consisted of (70) male and female students from Al Ain University, and the study used a questionnaire consisting of ( 15) Paragraphs divided into three axes: The first axis: The role of parents in developing the sustainability of education in the Emirates, and it consists of (5) paragraphs, and the second axis: The challenges facing parents in developing the sustainability of education in the Emirates, and it consists of (5). ) paragraphs, and the third axis: proposals through which parents can be increased in their effectiveness in developing the sustainability of education in the UAE, and it consists of (5) paragraphs. The results of the study showed that the arithmetic average of the role of parents in developing the sustainability of education in the UAE as a whole is (3.44), with a moderate degree. The results also showed that the arithmetic average of the challenges facing parents in developing the sustainability of education in the UAE as a whole is (3.58), with a moderate degree. The results also showed that the arithmetic mean of the proposals through which parents’ effectiveness in developing the sustainability of education in the UAE as a whole was (3.58) to a moderate degree. The results also showed that there were no fundamental differences with statistical significance at the significance level (0.05) in the effectiveness of the parents’ role in The development of education sustainability in the UAE is due to the gender variable, where the significance level of the (F) values ​​was (0.175), which is greater than the significance level (0.05).
