The New Covid 19 and its Impact on Human Public Health

(A field study in Baghdad hospitals)

Abstract

Coronavirus is a group of viruses that cause respiratory diseases. It can cause the common cold and severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS), in addition to Covid-19. The virus that causes Covid-19 spreads mainly from person to person and can be spread by an infected person without it being apparent. He has symptoms.

Our current research aims to identify the causes of infection, symptoms, treatment, and prevention of the virus. An intentional sample consisting of (50) patients was taken from Baghdad hospitals, and the most important results were reached:

1- Our study confirmed that the rate of infection with Covid 19 among males and females is equal at 50%.

2- Our study proved that the majority of the sample members were infected, ranging between (20-29), at a rate of 34%.

3- Our study showed that most of the sample members were university graduates with bachelor’s degrees, at a rate of 68%.

4- Our field study found that most of the sample members’ family size ranged from (4-5) individuals, at a rate of 40%.

5- Our field study revealed that most of the sample members are employees, at a rate of 38%.

6- Our field study found that most of the sample members earn an amount ranging from (250-500) thousand dinars, at a rate of 48%.

7- Our field study found that most of the sample members had a private residence, at a rate of 80%.

8- Our field study indicates that the cause of infection is infection during official work, at a rate of 64%.

9- Our study shows that the most common symptoms of the disease are general malaise - coughing - delirium, at a rate of 28%.

10- We infer from our study that most of the sample members receive vaccination, at a rate of 72%.

11- Our field study shows that the number of Covid-19 infections was only one time, at a rate of 62%.
